Extended Homework Tasks.
Homework can enrich the curriculum, enhance progression, increase engagement and develop learning skills if the students recognise value in the activity and enjoy the experience of completing the tasks.
The following link will take you to a section of extended Key Stage 3 Science homework activities that can be set and completed over several lessons which enhance and assess students independent learning skills relation to assessing pupil progress (APP) criteria. Example of which are shown opposite, they all are accompanied by a level ladder for consistent teacher and peer assessment and in line with the NC levels.
